Every restaurant here is one we have sat down in and would send you to. The photographs are ours, taken at the table, and the dish names come from asking rather than guessing.
What This Is
rDining is the dining half of a travel network that has been running for a while. The travel sites cover whether a place is worth the trip. This one covers what it is like to eat there: what arrived, what it tasted like, what we would order again, and what we would skip. It starts small and on purpose, with restaurants we know well rather than a list assembled from search results.
How We Choose
A restaurant earns a page here by being one we loved, and the page existing is the recommendation. In the city we live in that usually means many visits over many years. Somewhere we were only passing through it can mean one very good night, and the page will say which it was. Either way the list grows slowly, which we think is the point. Every travel destination in the network will eventually have a dining page alongside it, written the same way.
